Daybreak live channel 2 segment! Healthy Holiday Snacks

Yesterday, I was on CW’s Daybreak channel 2. to share  some super easy and decadent recipes ideas to lighten up the holiday season with out having to sacrifice anything!  All are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan, Paleo Friendly and contain no added sugar!  Each one features one of our four flavors which adds a boost of protein, antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals. In case you missed it, watch here!

Healthy Snacks for the Holidays

We all know this time of year can be really difficult with all the holiday parties and the many temptations out there. The key to maintaining our healthy diets that we’ve worked so hard at all year long, is to indulge your sweet tooth with healthy nutrient dense options like these that are just as satisfying and delicious. Try these!

Dark Chocolate Coconut Freezer Fudge: topped with fresh Raspberries 

Melt 3 TB of coconut oil and whisk in 6 TB of Dark Chocolate Coconut. Pour mixture into glass then place in freezer for at least an hour. Top with Fresh Raspberries or slice strawberries!

Blueberry Cinnamon Walnut Chia Pudding
Blend together, 1 cup of canned coconut milk, 1 generous spoonful of Blueberry Cinnamon Walnut, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1Ž4 cup chia seeds. Then place in fridge overnight. When ready to eat top with fresh blueberries.
Better for you Espresso Hazelnut Brownies
In food processor blend together 1 cup dates, 1/2 cup almonds, 1/2 cup  walnuts, and 1/2 cup of Cocoa powder until it reaches a paste like consistency. Place mixture in a dish and distribute evenly. Then place 1/4 cup ofcocoa, 2 ripe bananas, and 5 TB of Espresso Hazelnut into food processor until smooth. Layer this on top of 1st layer. Once remove from freezer cut into squares and enjoy!
